Description

You might think I'm becoming obsessed with this object, but here it is again at 300mm focal length.  After photographing this planetary nebula at 640mm and 1960mm, now the dim but obvious outer shell is fully visible.  I think of this nebula being sort of like the Cat's Eye nebula and other bright Planetary Nebula with a relatively bright core and a much dimmer outer shell.  This one however is much older, and farther along in its evolution.   I find planetary nebula to be fascinating objects to photograph and read about.
